GUIDELINES
1. ACCURATE REPRESENTATION
DO:
• List only certificates and ratings you currently hold
• Keep your flight hours updated and accurate
• Disclose any limitations on your medical certificate
• Be honest about your experience level and comfort zonesDON'T:
• Exaggerate your qualifications or experience
• Claim certificates or ratings you don't have
• Misrepresent currency or proficiency
• Use outdated or expired credentials2. RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION
DO:
• Use professional language in all interactions
• Be patient with pilots at all experience levels
• Offer constructive feedback and mentorship
• Respect different flying philosophies and techniquesDON'T:
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Use discriminatory language based on race, gender, age, or any protected class
• Share private conversations without consent
• Engage in personal attacks or name-calling3. SAFETY CULTURE
DO:
• Encourage conservative decision-making
• Share safety tips and lessons learned
• Respect weather minimums and personal limits
• Report safety concerns appropriatelyDON'T:
• Pressure anyone to fly beyond their comfort level
• Encourage or boast about risky behavior
• Dismiss legitimate safety concerns
• Share information that could compromise safety4. PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
DO:
• Keep interactions professional and aviation-focused
• Respect others' time and availability
• Be clear about your intentions (time-building, instruction, etc.)

• Use the platform for romantic pursuits
• Send unsolicited personal messages unrelated to aviation
• Make inappropriate comments about appearance
• Cross professional boundaries5. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY
ALLOWED:
• CFIs listing their instruction services
• Sharing aircraft rental availability
• Posting about DPE gouge exchangesNOT ALLOWED:
• Spam or excessive self-promotion
• Misleading commercial offers
• Pyramid schemes or MLM recruitment
• Non-aviation related sales6. DPE GOUGE SHARING
DO:
• Share your genuine checkride experiences
• Focus on helpful study tips and areas of emphasis
• Respect the integrity of the testing process
• Keep your gouges updated if DPE methods changeDON'T:
• Share actual test questions that violate FAA test security
• Guarantee checkride success based on your gouge
• Submit fake or misleading gouge information
• Resell others' gouges as your own - this is strictly prohibited
• Share purchased gouges with others
• Create multiple accounts to game the trading system7. PRIVACY & CONSENT
DO:
• Ask before sharing someone's contact information
• Respect others' privacy settings
• Keep private message contents confidential
• Get consent before posting photos including other pilotsDON'T:
• Share personal information without permission
• Screenshot and share private conversations
• Dox or reveal identifying information
• Create fake profiles or impersonate others8. CONTENT STANDARDS
ACCEPTABLE:
• Aviation photos and videos (with consent)
• Flight planning discussions
• Weather analysis and go/no-go decisions
• Maintenance experiences and tipsUNACCEPTABLE:
• Illegal content of any kind
• Graphic or disturbing accident footage
• Copyrighted material without permission
• Content promoting unsafe practices9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If conflicts arise:
Try to resolve directly with the other party professionally
Disengage if the conversation becomes heated
Report serious violations to Postflyte support
Do not publicly shame or call out other users10. PLATFORM INTEGRITY
DO:
• Report bugs or security issues to support
• Provide constructive feedback for improvements
• Help new users understand the platform
• Contribute positively to the community
• Respect the submit-one-get-one gouge systemDON'T:
• Attempt to hack or compromise the platform
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions
• Abuse reporting systems
• Spread false information about Postflyte
• Use automated tools or bots
• Scrape user data or contentREPORTING VIOLATIONS
If you witness violations of these guidelines:
Immediate Safety Concerns: If someone is in danger, encourage them to contact appropriate authorities
Platform Violations: Use the "Report" button on profiles or content
Email Reports: Send detailed reports to team@postflyte.com
DPE Gouge Issues: Report fake or resold gouges to team@postflyte.comWhat Happens to Reports:
• All reports are reviewed within 48 hours
• We investigate thoroughly and fairly
• Actions range from warnings to permanent bans
• Reporter identity is kept confidentialCONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATIONS
Depending on severity:
• First Offense: Warning and education
• Repeat Offenses: Temporary suspension
• Serious Violations: Immediate permanent ban
• Illegal Activity: Reported to authoritiesAPPEALS PROCESS
If you believe action was taken against you unfairly:
Email team@postflyte.com within 30 days
Include your side of the story with any evidence
Allow 5-7 business days for review
